But, are you sure that you are actually secured ? not at all. Your PIN or pattern probably is not the secure as you think of it. Firstly, if you are using a Android OS smartphone than choose a more unpredictable pattern or create a longer PIN up to 16 digits and your chances of staying protected are much better. It doesn't matter which device you are using, there must be a timeout period set on your device before the lock screen is activated, normally it set to 1 to 2 minute of time. But, the more shorter the timeout will be the more secure your phone or tablet. It is difficult to maintain such hurry up situation because you might have to unlock the phone many times even when you are using it.

Security Tips 3: Disable Siri on the Lock Screen
If your device is an iPhone or an iPad you must have seen that you can actually start your Siri just from the lock screen, pulling up the weather reports, making calls, displaying your calendar and more. It is such a leak that people can actually access to your smartphone some features without even unlocking your phone.
Disable Siri on iOS iPhone

I know you might not be so concern about if someone else gets access to Siri as they will only able to access limited functionality but still if you consider to be more secured and do not like to compromise about it. You can simply turn the Siri off from your lock screen from the Touch ID & Passcode entry in the Settings app, you will see there are a list of features that iOS allows access to when the device is unlocked, toggle the Siri and switch to off as well as don't forget to apply any other blocks you want to make like the notification view.

Security Tips 4: Sensitive Notification
Android device don't have a app like Siri but there is actually notification previews on the lock screen. The idea is you can quickly take a glance at what is happening and who is trying to reach you without having to unlock your phone. However you might not consider to take a chance that people will have access to such information.
Android Notification Settings

If you would like to turn this off, simply go to your Sound & Notification heading in Settings, and tap When Device Is Locked and then again tap Hide sensitive notification content to turn off most of the previews.
