The application isn’t meant to replace Windows 7 robust search utility with Windows XP inspired search feature; you can use it as a secondary system search application when Windows 7 search is taking too much time to find required files and folders from defined locations.
The left sidebar holds options to specify search location and set search criteria, including by Date and Size while Advanced Options are also available to include search within archives, system files, hidden files and folders, and case sensitive search keyword and prevent modification of search string.
Search can be configured by date stamps from Choose Details window accessible from Edit menu. Here, you can enable Date Modified, Date Created, and Date Accessed options to search files by these file attributes.
