Recently leaked AT&T documents suggest that the next-generation iPhone 5 and iPad 3 could offer 4G LTE compatibility. The files have been leaked online by the LulzSec hacking team and are available for everyone to read via Google Docs.
AT&T is reportedly planning to roll out its 4G LTE network in the near future, the leaked documents suggest. Unfortunately, the 16 page documentation has been especially written for telecommunication specialists, and the language used is highly technical, thefore most readers will have difficulties in understanding the terms.

The files describes the testing process for an iPad 4G LTE compatible model, most probably the iPad 2’s successor which s expected to be launched sometime in 2012. The testing includes the iPad ” new activations HLS using the new rate plan”, .
The iPad 2 follow up will offer a new display type, with a resolution possibly 3 or 4 times higher than the iPad 2’s resolution and will be powered by a faster processor.
If the documents are genuine, it is likely that the six-generation iPhone offers LTE connectivity. As for the upcoming iPhone 5, chances are rather slim that this smartphone offers LTE capabilities.
It would be a wise decision for Apple to integrate LTE features in their future iOS products since many smartphone and tablet makers are quickly enhancing their products’ capabilities and Apple needs to find better offerings so as to stand out in the crowd.
LTE network speeds will definitely attract customers into buying iOS products.
