The New Windows 7 Ad – Gone a Bit Too Far?

There’s a new video ad for Windows 7 in town that shows how easy it is to stay connected with your friends on a Windows PC.

The ad features two college students, a boy and a girl, who are in different locations but manage to carry on the relationship with the help of their Windows laptops. You can watch the full commercial below:

The ad is hilarious though the idea may have gone a bit too far.
Jamal Dedeaux and Rebecca Haze made this video for the Cannes contest where filmmakers were asked to make short films on how a “Windows 7 PC helps students stay on top of their studies and more.” The ad focused on every other part of student life except studies and still managed to walk away with the first prize.
