With the help of GrameenPhone Jaggo Foundation in city and rural area's and village a concept named online classroom is going to launch.GrmaeenPhone CEO Torrey Jhonson and Jaggo Foundation founder Corvy Raksandh signed this agreement.
The concept of 'Online Classroom' is extremely simple.The reason behind this concept which is there will be a webcam or internet camera in the village schools and in the city schools as well which is called video conference technology.Both the classes will be conducted by a single instructor while the necessary books and other equipments will be provided.Grameenphone CEO said "If this online classroom runs properly in Bangladesh, knowlenge will increase as well as digital Bangladesh."


For now this project will set off as a pilot to make certain that online classroom is a feasible concept to achieve this particular goal. Thus, Grameenphone will utilize their four Alokdeeps (Cyclone Center and school), located in the southern coastal belts of Bangladesh to facilitate the project and acquire practical knowledge.Grameenphone will also partner with Jaago Foundation for the pilot initiative. At present, the Jaago Foundation has three schools for the children living at the slums. Two of them are at Rayer Bazaar and Banani.
