How to hide local disk or hard drive

You can easily hide or hidden the local disk or hard drives in your computer. To do so simply you have to give some commands and edit your Adminstrative template. So if you want to hide any of your drive for any particular or person reasons then you can simply follow the following steps listed below :

Step 1: Go to Command from START then click RUN.
Step 2: Type gpedit.msc and press OK.
Step 3: Now you will see USER CONFIGURATION from there go to ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES tab and press WINDOWS COMPONENTS and then WINDOWS EXPLORER click on it.
Step 4: in Windows exloper in the left side you will see HIDE THESE SPECIFIED DRIVES IN MY COMPUTER now press right button of your mouse and go to PROPERTIES and click on it.
Step 5: Next you will see a dialog box and from there turn it on by ENABLED option and then click APPLY and OK.

If you would to like to turn off then follow the above steps as same and when you will see the dalog box select NOT CONFIGURED and then APPLY and click OK.
