5 Important Facts/tips for Facebook paper app start

Recently, Facebook has announced about the new launch of Facebook Paper app for its smartphone users. This new app will help users to discover news using what it is calling Sections. That means you will have different section for all the updates by your Facebook connections. Sections will contain articles posted by friends and surfaced through Facebook algorithms randomly but with most important to less.

Paper Customized Sections

First complete the tutorial for the first time because next time you won't get it, after you complete the basic tutorial you can start editing your sections by swiping down from the main screen in Paper, then tapping on Edit Sections to start editing.

On while you are viewing your sections you can add or remove sections with a simple gesture, but did you realize you can also rearrange the section ? while you are on sections, just tap and hold on any section's icon and then drag it to your desired location in your Sections catalog.

Facebook feed is default so you can not remove it from the sections. Should you decide you want to use paper strictly as a news source, you can move it to the end of your all sections.



Paper Disable Autoplay videos

Well the app has lot of new features that you might like but unfortunately one of major annoying part in the apps are starting to implement is the auto play of videos. Facebook and Instagram are both guilty of using the feature, but also provide methods for disabling it. As such, Facebook gives paper users the option to disable video auto-play when browsing sections. It is one of annoying part so you must disable it so it will to use the paper app extremely fast.

All you need to do is pull down the menu by swiping down on the main screen in the app then tap over Settings now move the switch next to Autoplay Videos to the left and then turn it off. Its simple.

Paper Notifications
When you are on your settings section, you can also make few important changes for your paper, the notifications that you want to receive or see on the paper, doing so will allow you to more or less replace the main Facebook app with Paper.

In the short time with the app yet to find a feature that you can regularly use in the main Facebook app missing from paper. You can like, comment, post status updates and use the chatting messenger which included a complete chat heads. Save Stories To Read Later

The main idea behind the new paper app for Facebook users is discover news, it makes sense that Facebook included the option for users that you can easily save articles or news with a service built for saving all your favorite articles.
