Dating is haram in Islam but if you do it in the Islamic way then its halal. If you date the girl you are going to marriage to know each other well or like dating a girl that you want to choose as your life partner it is ok and permitted in Islam. But if you go to the garden, parks for dating and do staffs which is forbidden before marriage then it is haram that explained by DR.
