To get started, enter a list title, question language (e.g. your native language) and an answer language (e.g. a foreign language which you may be learning or wish to test your vocabulary for such as French). When done, create a word list by entering the word and translation in the following format question language word=answer language word. For example one=un, two=deux (English to French). Once the list is complete, click Enter.
This will create your list and allow testing your knowledge against the entered words. Use the Symbols given on the right-hand side menu to create your lists. You can create and save language projects for later review and testing from Save button from the top toolbar.
To test your knowledge, head over to the Teach Me tab and enter a words and an answer such as one=un and hit check. Open Teacher will alert you of the correct meaning and whether you entered the correct answer or not. You will also be given marks for correct answers and will be given a score at the end of the test. Select “Correct Anyway” option to view the right answer and use the Think Answer tab to review your test and get hints from Shuffle Answer tab. Likewise, you can use the Repeat Answer tab to retake the test.
Open Teacher can be a handy application for both foreign language teachers and students for testing and improving their language skills. Open Teacher works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X and Linux operating system like Ubuntu, Fedora, Red Hat, and Arch Linux.
I hope by this way you will easily able to learn new languages.
